It's recommended to apply Fishtelizer® every 2-3 weeks or as needed.
Fishtelizer® is an all-season fertilizer.
Yes, you can use it in your hydroponic garden to add nutrients.
Nitrogen supports leaf growth and green color; phosphorus helps seed germination, root formation, and disease resistance; potassium contributes to enzyme activation, ATP production, and water retention.
Next time you weed your garden, throw the weeds into a bucket, chopping as you go. When about half full, mix 3 oz of Fishtelizer® and 1 gallon of water into the bucket until it's ¾ full. Screen the top to keep mosquitoes out, stir daily to aerate. After 7–14 days, strain and use right away as fertilizer or foliar feed. Alfalfa, horsetail, willow, comfrey, chicory, dandelions, and stinging nettle make extra-nourishing tea; fresh grass clippings are also high in nitrogen and potassium.
Fishtelizer® can replace water in your favorite compost or fertilizer tea, providing all the aeration and supplemental nutrients needed without extra additives like molasses. Add 1/3 compost to a 5-gallon bucket, fill nearly to the top with Fishtelizer®, stir for a few minutes, and let steep for a few days, stirring daily and covering to keep mosquitoes out. Strain and use as a soil drench or foliage spray, full strength or diluted. It's a health booster for plants, improves water retention in soil, loosens clay soils, helps sandy soils retain water and nutrients, and adds beneficial microbes to foliage and soil structure.
